EmTech are delighted to welcome Armando Medel as Technical Director – Latin America, to help service and support their rapidly growing customer base.
Based in Mexico, Armando is vastly experienced and knowledgeable of the poultry industry and will help support and maintain hatcheries in Mexico and beyond.
Armando began his career as an Industrial Engineer in electronics working in the automotive sector, before moving into the incubation industry in December 2000 as Production Supervisor for Bachoco. He later worked for Pilgrims Pride as Incubation Supervisor helping to service equipment from various manufacturers, as well as preparing annual chick production budgets and projections for the sale of fertile eggs.
In 2006 he became Technical Support & Project Manager as part of Chick Master’s Hatchery Solutions Team, involved in the start-up of incubation plants, installations, personnel training, audits, incubation controls, HVAC systems and problem solving in egg logistics and one day chick handling.
Armando joins an EmTech team that he knows well from many years of shared association with previous companies. Ken Baker, EmTech Managing Director enthused, “Armando is a major asset to the company and knows the industry inside out. He enjoys helping customers improve their hatchery equipment and process, showing them how to do things in the most logical and efficient way possible.”
