Earlier this month, Tim Hodgetts, EmTech Sales Director and Peter Mathews, Owner and Managing Director of Australasian Agricultural Services met up with the team at Bromley Park Hatcheries NZ. There, they met with Tugrul Durali, Group Production Manager and Munish Kumar, Hatchery Manager.
As EmTech’s exclusive agent for Australasia, AAS has progressively grown over the past few years and now currently represent many of the world’s leading poultry equipment suppliers.
EmTech in New Zealand
Back in September, Bromley Park Hatcheries NZ commissioned the expansion of their hatchery with EmTech equipment. Three months later, we came back to see how things were going.
The new expansion employs our PT12-168 setters and VT192-168 Hatchers. Additionally, it utilises the Jamesway tray systems in conjunction with the EnviroTech packaged HVAC, incorporating a full heat recovery system, which as a result will allow for huge energy savings to be gained.
We were very excited that Bromley Park are hatching the Cobb breed in the southern hemisphere and, as such were extremely curious to see the outcome.
The results? An impressive and narrow hatch window, with the total hatch completed within 23 hours!
As you can see, the results are incredible. The hatch produced excellent quality chicks; a testament to the EmTech Effect!
Moreover, we also saw an increased chick weight in comparison to that experienced when using the older, existing equipment.
Overall it was a great success and even better experience for this new partnership with Bromley Park Hatcheries NZ. The installation was completed efficiently with excellent results from the outset. The first hatch exceeding all our expectations.
